Service description
TapTo is a free, anonymous voting tool that lets you create polls with shareable links. No account is required to create or participate in polls.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use TapTo to:
- Create polls with illegal, harmful, or harassing content
- Manipulate vote results through bots, scripts, or coordinated fraud
- Impersonate other people or organizations
- Distribute spam or unsolicited content
- Attempt to circumvent anti-fraud protections
User content
You retain ownership of the poll content you create (questions and options). By creating a poll, you grant TapTo a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and process your content as needed to provide the service.
TapTo reserves the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates these terms, without prior notice.
Intellectual property
The TapTo name, logo, and product code are the property of the TapTo project. The source code is available under an open-source license at GitHub.
Disclaimer of warranties
TapTo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
TapTo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. We are not responsible for the accuracy of poll results or any decisions made based on them.
Poll management
Each poll has a unique management token. This token is the only way to manage your poll. If you lose it, we cannot recover it. We recommend saving your management link when creating a poll.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to TapTo at any time, for any reason, without notice. Polls may be removed if they violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TapTo after changes constitutes acceptance.
